Tour Itinerary
Day 01
VISIT CAPE COAST AND ELMINA CASTLES
We’ll depart from Accra through the towns and villages to the capital of the Central Region Cape Coast to visit the castle for a historic adventure that takes you back to the days of colonization. A site guide will lead us through the dungeons, cells and the museum within the castle. Lunch will be taken at Baobab and proceed to Elmina Castle, the oldest European structure in sub-Saharan Africa, which served as the major Transatlantic slave hub. We will experience the history of the slave trade, the impact of which is still felt beyond the shores of Africa. From here, we’ll proceed to Hans Cottage Botel and check into our rooms. Prior to dinner will be crocodiles and bird watching within the Botel. After dinner, we’ll enjoy nightlife within the city of Cape Coast and a special live band at Goil before going to bed.

Day 02
VISIT TO INT. STINGLESS BEE CENTRE AND KAKUM NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast at Hans Cottage, we’ll depart to the International Stingless Bee Centre where a site guide will give us an orientation of what they do at the center and how they came about with the stingless bees. After the orientation, the guide will lead us on a tour to all the hives at the center. After the tour, we’ll get the opportunity to taste different honey from different bees. Lunch awaits us at Kakum restaurant and continues thereafter to the canopy walk where we’ll have the chance to see various beautiful species of flora. We’ll also get a unique vantage point, thanks to the 330-meter Canopy walkway that suspends 40 meters above the forest floor. After this exciting expedition, we’ll depart to Accra and drop off at your hotel.
