0800 HOURS TO 0940 HOURS
Early Departure
We will pick you up from your hotel and start the day with a visit to the Proverbial Casket Shop. Known for its history of making artistic caskets that denote the profession of the deceased (like a casket in the shape of cocoa for a cocoa farmer, a pen for a teacher and an eagle for a chief, among others), this casket shop is only one of the many exciting sights Accra offers. From here, we will proceed to Jamestown.

0950 HOURS TO 1200 HOURS
Accra Oldest Town
Jamestown otherwise called Old Accra is the oldest town in Accra. Known as the place where the capital city began, Jamestown provides a unique cultural experience as you go through the artworks of the local artists, visit the Brazil house and the Ussher Fort. We’ll also tour Bukom, a suburb of Jamestown popularly known for bringing renowned boxers.

1210 HOURS TO 1310 HOURS
Lunch
After this amazing tour, lunch awaits us at Osikan restaurant which is well known for their delicious local recipes. Lunch will be awesome as we enjoy our meal in a cozy environment with a spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean.

1320 HOURS TO 1530 HOURS
Makola Market Tour
After lunch, we’ll head to the Makola Market. This is the biggest market in Accra with a myriad of clothes, footwear, electrical gadgets, foodstuffs among others. There, we’ll visit some shops, interact with the different businessmen and women to learn more about their profession and how they conduct their shops. Afterward, you’ll be given time to shop for numerous items such as African fabrics, dresses and clothes, shoes, jewelry, and colorful clay pottery as well as food and snacks. We will then return to your hotel where you’ll have time to rest before going out to enjoy Accra nightlife!
