On arrival, they will ask you for your Yellow Fever Card, make sure you have it in hand with your passport. If you are obtaining “Visa on Arrival” you will then head to visa on arrival office. There you will show them your paperwork. If you have applied for your visa beforehand, you simply walk to the immigration officer. The immigration officer will ask you to fill out a small form you received on the plane. Here you are required to put the address of your accommodation and contact number in Ghana, please make sure we have provided you with this and write it down before flying.
The new terminal, Kotoka International Airport, in Accra now has open wifi for everybody. If you are using our service of Airport Pick up, please message the driver you have arrived. The driver will be outside the sliding doors waiting for you with a whiteboard.

Ghana is one of the safest countries on the continent. Have normal awareness like you would have when traveling to other countries.
Pharmacies are common in Ghana where if you are not feeling well you could just walk in tell your symptoms to a pharmacist and they will recommend medication. If something more severe there are hospitals throughout the country. That being said, also carry with you some antibiotics and simple ills like pain killers
It is recommended to start taking Malaria pills a few days before your trip to Ghana. Please consult your primary doctor before traveling.
